Wishing You the Best with Memory Box Cherish Hearts

Balloons 2

Hello and welcome, it's Angie here today with a fun clean and simple card made with the new "Cherish Hearts" die set.

Supplies:  https://ldli.co/e/m5lpljr

Here's a closer look at my card:

I made the hearts into balloons and used a sentiment from the "Signature Greetings" stamp set.

The colorful balloons were cut from Yupo paper that I added liquid glue to and then added some gilding flakes and then pigment powder.  First you have to smear the glue around on the paper, which I did with my finger.  You may have to add a little spritz of water on the glue to get it to move smoothly.  Set is off to dry and when it's clear and tacky to the touch, add the gilding flakes with your fingers, then sprinkle pigment powders on top.  Next spritz lightly to get the powder color to move.  You can also use a paint brush to move the color around if you prefer.  After it dries, cut the hearts and back them with black.  Next, stamp the sentiment on the card front.

I glued one heart and popped the others up and use a black marker to make them into balloons.   I love how it turned out!

Thank You Pigment Powder Butterflies

Hello and welcome!  I have a fun card made with a couple of butterfly stamps from my stash and pigment powders.

Supplies:  https://ldli.co/e/43enn0r

Here's a close up look:

I used watercolor card stock and priment powders with a spray water bottle to create some shiny, pretty, paper to use to stamp and cut my butterflies.  I wanted something graphic, mixed media type, to stamp behind the butterflies, but I have destashed my craft supply so much, I don't have mixed media stamps anymore!  So I used a small part of an older stamp set by Pinkfresh Studio called "Delicate Wreath" and Nocturne Versafine Clair ink to stamp to small areas where I wanted my butterflies.  I stamped the butterflies and cut them with the coordinating dies and then added them to the card front, only gluing the center of each butterfly so I could fold the wings up a bit.  I added the sentiment with the same black ink and then added gold pearls and white paint pen to the butterflies.  Here's one last look:

I hope you like my card for today!  I had a lot of fun creating it!

I used a piece of plaid paper from the Anemone Plaid Paper Pack (PP1025) and then added a die cut rectangle of gold mirror paper and a blue watercolor panel - all made with the A2 Rectangle Frames dies (94672).  I added the rectangles and then used a white paint pen to add tiny dots all around the blue panel. I cut the butterflies from white card stock and used ink blenders to color them in green, blue and a dark purple for the bodies.  I stamped the sentiment in dark turquoise ink and then added Glossy Accents on top of it.  Lastly I added the butterflies and then some blue gems from the Christmas Fairy Dewdrops (ddp-101) onto the gold edge.  Here's one last look at my card:

You're a True Friend & Many Thanks with Spellbinders BetterPress of the Month

Hello and welcome, I have another look at cards today featuring the brand new BetterPress club of the month from Spellbinders for March 2025!  Here's the name and catalog number.

BPOM-MAR25:  Quilted Memories

For this card I used only the BetterPress of the month Quilted Memories, but instead of using my BetterPress, I used my Spellbinders Platinum 6 machine and dry embossed the cotton panel.  I inked the plate before sending it through my machine and did the same with the sentiment.  I added tiny turquoise gems in the centers and matted the sentiment on a strip of turquoise card stock.

And for my last card I used the heart die set (linked below), green ink with my BetterPress plate and the cotton card stock for a pretty letterpress look.  I cut the heart out and only colored that section with alcohol markers, added gems in the centers and then outlined the heart with the same turquoise market to make it pop.  The heart is also popped up on foam tape for dimension.

Another Look at the Spellbinders March 2025 3D Embossing Folder

Hello and welcome, I have lot of cards today featuring the brand new 3D embossing.

3EOM-MAR25: Floral Fence of Togetherness 3D embossing folder

Supplies:  https://ldli.co/e/0753ezl

To create my first card I used a brayer and Saltwater Taffy Distress ink on the debossed side of the 3D embossing folder (Floral Fence of Togetherness) and then cut parts of it out, with scissors and the Essential Hearts die set.  I used rectangle dies to create my background with a pretty turquoise paper from my stash.  The sentiment is from the Glimmer foil of the month which has beautiful sentiments for Dad and Mom and Mum.  After assembling the card I added some blue dot from my stash.

For my next card I used the same embossing folder but instead of inking before on the debossed side, I did it after the dry embossing was done.  I used same heart die set and BetterPress sentiment set and dots from my stash to complete this card.  The inks I used were:  Distress Oxide in Mustard Seed and Picked Raspberry.

This next card is a slimline card and I inked the debossed side with a heavy amount of Saltwater Taffy Distess Oxide ink, then trimmed the panel down and added sentiments from the same Glimmer set.
